Secularization in Slovenia

Problem:

We noticed that there are less and less people who go to church and pray but on the other hand, there are more and more people that are turning to fortunetelling. That is why we want to find out to which extent Slovenia is secularized on the level of consciousness and how are people replacing their religiousness.

Research questions:

  1. When did secularization in Slovenia occur?

  2. Why did secularization in Slovenia occur?

  3. How did secularization in Slovenia occur?

  4. To which extent is Slovenia secularized, if at all?

  5. Which are the consequences of secularization for Slovene society.

  6. Which are the consequences of secularization for the Roman Catholic Church in Slovenia?

  7. How does the secularization of state influence religious pluralism?

  8. Is the degree of secularization in Slovenia changing?

  9. How is the Roman Catholic Church in Slovenia stimulating revitalization?

  10. How (by what means) do people replace their affilation to a certain religion?
