BALANCING FORMAL WORK AND FAMILY

 LIFE OF AN   EMPLOYED WOMAN

Definition:

Since always woman is a symbol of informal work, where she was specially in the past expected to stay at home to take care for children and the household. However, nowadays woman is getting more and more involved into the labour market, where she wants to create her own career or just help to support family. Although she is still supposed to participate in family life, mainly as the person who coordinate family life and take care of household chores. Regarding this, we are mainly interested how an employed woman balance on the one hand formal work and on the other hand duties of a family life. It appers that woman is capable of balancing both sides, what is seen on daily basis, but the question is to what extent?

Discussion: We talked about finding the right literature. Maja suggested that everybody finds appropriate literature for one topic in our work and add it to wiki page. We all think this is a great idea. About developing the thesis. Alja thought it would be the best if we sent all thesis to one person and on Thursday we check and fix them.

Decision: It was decided to find the appropriate literature and browse through it. We also agreed that each should develope at least one thesis. We accepted the ideas that was suggested by Maja and Alja.
