INFORMATION SOCIETY

Nowadays it is all about technology, even more than that, it seems that our dependence on technology is increasing (the internet, cell phones, etc...). Technology obviously has a very big influence on people's lives and also often highly interferes with their privacy and intimacy and frequently influences on relationships between employees.

In information society we can notice a major impact of information technology on interpersonal relationships in organizations. Due to better understanding of information society and changes that came with new information technology and restructured ways of communicating at workplace we have to do a brief overview of the past also so we will present industrial society and try to show how the work was back then. In our empirical part of the project we will interview two enterprises that completely distinguish in their function and question them about communication within the organization and the information technology they use when communicating at workplace.

Since information technology became part of our everyday life, relations became more impersonal and there often appears problem in communication between people who are involved in organizations.
