Discussion of issues

Issue 1: PBL Problem

We have had a discussion about PBL Problem on our group meeting and ended up with the following decision:

Decision 1: Among profession, media reporting and public opinion about enivronmental problems Case of study: Hydroelectric power stations on Mura River

Issue 2: Refined problem

Our first title of our PBL problem, was good framework for the start. We have realised that the title itself doesn't point out the problem. Therefore, we needed to refine our problem and throughout we ultimately decided to change our title to:

Decision 2: Building hydroelectric power stations on Mura River - is it possible to meet a consensus among profession, media reporting and public opinion

In our research Building hydroelectric power stations on Mura River - is it possible to meet a consensus among profession, media reporting and public opinion we will try to eleminate the clasical black and white view on ecological issues and try to find out on which point profession, media and public opinion can meet. On one side we have various for argument for building hydroelectric power stations and on the other side various reasons against it. Judging if building power stations is the optimal decision or not will not be our goal. Because we want to discover if, which and how connections are established between profession, media and public opinion when we are talking about ecological issue. To gather required data we will use methods as interviews, media analyzes and opinion polls.
