MINUTES OF THE FIRST MEETING OF THE PBL PROJECT

held on 11th March, 2010 at Činkole bar

Present: Klementina, Leonida, Lina, Maruška, Sandra

Absent: /

Agenda:

  1. Discussion and selection of the topic
  2. Title discussion
  3. Formating definition of the problem
  4. Any other business.

Item1:

Discussion: At the begining of the meeting we suggested possible topics: pathological narcissism, human mimicry, fake identities in the cyberspace and sexual identities on the basis of Anthony Giddens's book The transformation of intimacy. We discussed every topic but at the end did not decide for any of it since Leonida came up with the idea of subcultures, in greater detail of emos. We all agreed this topic was the most convenient as it was not as extensive as the others.

Decision: We decided to do our PBL project about emos because we are all interested in what emo subculture really is about.

Item2

Discussion: We discussed what our (working) title would be.

Decision: We determined the title is going to be Emos solving their identities.

Item3:

Discussion: When we were defining the problem we focused on the principle 'background, problem, illustration'.

Decision: Maruška wrote the definition, other members corrected things that improved it.

Item4:

Discussion: We talked about how are we content with the roles in the group and about writing minutes.

Decision: We agreed Klementina will write the minutes of our first meeting and moreover agreed on finding literature concerning selected topic. We set the time and place of the next meeting.
